Stefan Fleischer

After completing his carpentry apprenticeship in Wurzbach, Thuringia, Stefan Fleischer's love for craftsmanship inspired him to continue his grandfather's, Arthur Preißler's, woodworking legacy. He was mentored by his Uncle, Heinz Preißler, and his father-in-law, Rudolf Neubert. Stefan Fleischer absorbed the knowledge that honed his skills and passion. Woodworking is hereditary, starting with our grandfather, Arthur Preißler, who transformed wood into exquisite creations.

In 1980, With a master craftsman's diploma in wooden toy making, Stefan began his own journey. It started with a wood-turned candlestick and the smoker Mohr. Since 1993, our family business has revitalized traditional and beloved 1930s designs, keeping the legacy alive.

Stefan Fleischer is committed to using only local woods such as birch, beech, ash, pine, and elm, which are cut, milled into bars, and carefully dried. The components are meticulously shaped using a blend of semi-automatic and manual lathes. All additional materials, like the trimmings for our smoker Captain of Köpenick and the brooms for the food sweeper, are sourced from local producers to ensure quality and support our community.
